The Marketing of Madness

Last updated: March 5th, 2019

Emotions, the very thing that makes us human, are being turned into a massive money-spinning industry and psychotropic drugging has become the norm for any perceived deviant behaviour. Emotions are no longer dealt with by “talking things through” they are now considered “disorders” and a quick-fix pill the remedy. “Disorders” are on the rise, being created to fit the pseudo cures of drugs, either new or renamed and repackaged to rake in billions of dollars. You are shy? Social Anxiety Disorder—have a pill. Just had a break-up and going through the ups and downs? Bipolar—have a pill. Children are being drugged for being boisterous children. A visit to a psychiatrist will 90 percent of the time result in prescribing medication to change behaviour. The side effects of most of these drugs are often the same as the disorder they are used to cure. Big Pharma has to be fed and there is no money in “normal.”

The Marketing of Madness: Are We All Insane is a three-hour documentary on the multi-billion dollar psychiatric drugging industry and its threat to us and our children. It is the story of big money feeding a diseased industry without a cure.
