Since many of us have written book reviews for the site, I thought this would be a great topic to get started with. What are your favourite personal growth books and authors? These can be books you've reviewed for The Mindful Word or not. I have a ton, but the first three books that come to mind are Wired to Create by Carolyn Gregoire and Scott Barry Kaufman (which I have reviewed), Love Letter to the Earth by Thich Nhat Hanh, and Please Understand Me II by David Keirsey (an older title that I have reviewed).
Here's a few I'd suggest:
- Peace is Every Step and The Heart of the Buddha's Teachings by Thich Nhat Hanh
- Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (Swami Satchidananda)
- Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda
- Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and Dhammapada (Eknath Easwaran)
The Salssky: The Chosen One
Where Your True Self Awakens and Your Soul Dances Beyond All Limits
The Salssky Code is more than a book—it’s a transformational guide that invites you to awaken your true essence. It begins with a powerful question: "What if the deepest truth about you has been quietly waiting, hidden in plain sight?"
This journey reminds you that:
-
You are not broken.
-
You are not lost.
-
You are encoded—with a radiant blueprint of infinite potential.
Through the story of The Salssky: The Chosen One, the book unfolds as a sacred process designed to align your Heart, Mind, Body, and Soul (HMBS). It’s structured as a multi-level awakening experience, with Level I: The Inner Shift focusing on cultivating awareness and choosing between shadow and light.
By matching your unique HMBS code, you initiate this inner transformation. Completing Level I opens the path to deeper awakening in Level II.
This book serves as a call to remember who you truly are—and to step into your highest self with purpose and power. Your journey begins now.
