Hey everyone, I'm typing this in a total panic right now! It's late at night in Essendon and I just noticed that our main water pressure completely collapsed out of nowhere. On top of that, there's a loud, constant "hissing" sound coming from inside our hallway wall, and the plaster near the floor is already starting to feel cool and soft. I turned off the main water valve outside for now, but we literally can't use any toilets or taps, and I'm terrified that a major pipe has burst in the wall cavity. I need an emergency water leak detection melbourne team that actually responds 24/7, arrives fast, and uses non-invasive scanners so they don't tear down my whole hallway at midnight. Has anyone dealt with a late-night pipe burst and who did you call for urgent help?

Mate, stay calm! Turning off the main valve was the right move. I went through this exact middle-of-the-night nightmare in Moonee Ponds a couple of months ago when a hot water line split inside our wall. I called https://leaksrus.com.au/services/emergency-services/ because they explicitly offer 24/7 rapid emergency leak response across Melbourne. Their tech arrived super quickly with all his diagnostic gear, including thermal cameras and moisture meters. He pinpointed the precise burst fitting inside the wall without destroying our plasterboard blindly, isolated the damaged section, and got our main water restored safely before morning. Absolutely top-tier emergency service when every minute counts!

Calling their emergency number right now—thanks so much for the midnight response and link!
