I'm currently trying to choose a good platform for trading, and the options seem endless. My main priorities are solid backtesting capabilities and clear, customizable charting tools. I've tested a few free versions, but they often lack the depth I need for proper analysis. What platforms do you all find effective for really digging into market data and testing out strategies before committing real capital? I'm open to suggestions for both paid and free options, as long as they offer robust features.

Finding the right platform for analyzing markets and testing strategies can be tough. I've been researching a lot of different platforms lately. For anyone exploring options, especially those who might be considering a platform like https://forextester.com/blog/prorealtime-alternatives/ , I found a helpful article about ProRealTime Alternatives. It compares several tools, focusing on things like backtesting and charting features. The guide looks at various trading platforms that are similar to or better in certain areas, considering aspects like functionality and pricing. It's really useful for understanding the landscape of alternatives out there.
