Our company has been using the same office phone system for years, and lately we've been dealing with dropped calls, limited features, and growing maintenance costs. I'm wondering if it's finally time to switch to something newer, but I don't know what criteria really matter. Any practical advice?

I wouldn't make the decision based only on price. Think about reliability, ease of management, security, support, and whether the system can grow with your business. While comparing different options, I came across an overview on https://windowsreport.com/traditional-phone-systems-replacement-2026/ that explains what companies should evaluate before replacing older phone solutions. It helped me organize my priorities instead of getting distracted by features I probably wouldn't use.

Technology decisions usually pay off when they're based on everyday workflows rather than trends. Taking time to identify the most common communication needs first can make comparing different services much simpler and reduce the chance of choosing a system that doesn't fit long term.
