Signing up for betting websites always feels like a bit of an information dump. What kind of personal details are they typically looking for when you register an account? It's easy to forget exactly what each one asks for!

Well, usually it's the basic stuff - name, address, date of birth, email, phone number. Most sites will also need you to create a username and password, and select your preferred currency. Also, security questions are often part of it! I had to quickly melbet register when a friend said she wanted to compare odds with me. I was surprised how quick it was!

It's probably a legal requirement for them to collect certain information in order to comply with regulations around gambling and money laundering. Collecting date of birth helps them ensure all users are of legal gambling age, just as one example.
