Winter Colors
Winter’s cooler palette,
bereft of tropic flames,
speaks with a soft voice.
Her muted beauty
need not shout.
She awes with gentle harmony,
brings solace to the soul.
She takes your hand
and leads you down
a path of peace.
You hear her say,
“Step back and look
your fill, in my
safe haven.”
