Jessica Tomas currently works as a RECE at the University of Toronto Early Learning Centre. Born in Winnipeg, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Manitoba before obtaining her Early Childhood Education diploma from George Brown College, as well as Child Life training from McMaster University and the Hospital for Sick Kids. She also serves as the VP of Diversity for CUPE Local 2484 (Toronto Childcare
Workers) and volunteers annually for Dr. Jay Children’s Grief Centre.
