MEDITATION TO FREEDOM: A guided meditation to help you discover your essential nature

By listening to the audio track below, you can participate in a relaxing, technique-less guided meditation led by mindfulness teacher Stan Lipkin.

As you participate in the meditation, and sensations, sounds and thoughts arise, you may notice that everything is moving more slowly than usual, and that you feel little to no attachment to what comes up.

Due to this lack of attachment and the slowing of your thoughts, things may become clearer to you, and a vast spaciousness may even open up between any sensations, sounds and thoughts you’re experiencing.

Once you’re able to feel this spaciousness, you’ll have connected with true freedom in the present moment—a temporary freeing of the self from the past, the future and the body’s physical form.

If you enjoyed this meditation, you may want to listen to a philosophical inquiry by the same teacher that asks the question, “What is suffering?”»
