To Spencer, writing is like trying to complete a puzzle. Words and letters act as the pieces of the puzzle and grammar and syntax are the protrusions and indents that let the pieces fit together. However, unlike traditional puzzles with a set image, there are millions of ways to put the pieces together when writing. Figuring out which combination creates a beautiful scene (or a hilarious mishmash of colours) is what Spencer loves. If he can write about things that interest him and help inform others at the same time as his puzzling, then he is twice as happy to do so.
