Alice Shi Kembel lives in Boulder, Colorado (U.S.) She's the mother of three boys, as well as a speech-language therapist, swimmer, traveller, quilter, hiker and aspiring yogi and poet. In addition to winning the Family Narrative Project writing contest in 2017, her work has been featured in Elephant Journal, Akashic Books, Patch.com, Parenting on the Peninsula, Voices of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Experience, and the U.S. Masters SWIMMER Magazine. She's exploring her recent conversion to mindfulness while also seeking representation for a memoir that chronicles her experiences as a mother drowning in a sea of testosterone.
