DREAM

Oi Aneta,

I’m travelling to different places, talking to different people, trying to understand their culture and language. In one dream I was in Mongolia where I’m sitting on a vulture and flying over a desert.
I also daydream a lot. I always feel like sleeping because in my dreams I’m happy. I’m bored of the real life. It’s so fake.

DREAMER: Male, India, 25

PRINCIPAIS SÍMBOLOS:

Places – parts of mind, areas within dreamer’s life

People – aspects of the dreamer

Language – means of communication

Mongolia – foreign place in dreamer’s mind

Vulture – subconscious thought that feeds off of habitual ways of being

Flying – freedom

INTERPRETAÇÃO

Dear Karan,

Obrigado por compartilhar seu sonho...

Your dream reflects a state of exploration. You’re exploring different parts of your life and mind (different places) and you’re also exploring different parts of yourself (different people). You’re attempting to fully understand how these different areas of existence function—this is symbolized by studying the foreign language and culture.

Flying on a vulture in a country which is not your homeland has an interesting symbolism in that a vulture is a bird which symbolizes subconscious thought, thought of your inner mind. A vulture is a bird which lives off of prey. This symbolizes an inner thought pattern you have that feeds off of old, outdated ways of being.

Flying represents freedom and foreign country an unknown place in mind. Putting it all together: you’re experiencing a sense of freedom in the discovery of an unknown area of your life. This freedom is propelled by a subconscious (inner) thought pattern that’s related to outdated and somewhat habitual ways of being.

APLICAÇÃO

Your dream reflects an attitude of curiosity and discovery. It reflects your approach from a day or two prior where you were experiencing freedom in a state of mind that you’re not that familiar with. Although you commented that you’re bored with real life, the dream shows that your inner/subconscious mind is not bored, but rather it is engaged in voyaging through different parts of your existence.

The dream illustrates your inner urge to learn and explore life with a sense of freedom. This attitude currently exists in your subconscious mind (your inner mind), the next task is to bring it into your outer waking life (your conscious mind). The best way to do this is to write about things you would like to learn, places you would like to explore and people you would like to meet.

Instead of just daydreaming, journal about your dreams and ways in which you want to experience life to the fullest. Once you write about this for a while, create a list of things you would like to experience the most. Make this list succinct and believable. Read this list out loud throughout the day (for at least 21 days) matching each item with a clear image of what you want to experience. Make sure to add feelings of joy and excitement. Then step back and observe with much anticipation as your dreams unfold and your waking life turns into a wonderful and exciting adventure.

Que seus sonhos iluminem o seu interior...
