Two of the most courageous elements missing from most business environments is the combination of vulnerability and mindfulness—at all levels, practised with intention, consistently, and wholeheartedly.
I used to change or progress in roles every few years. I’d try a new activity every fall. I typically have 2-4 books on the go. I’m outspoken, have opinions, and can easily see the bigger strategic picture, understanding how all the elements engage and rely on one another.
It is time for a pause in my teaching, which means that most of the students and I leave the lecture hall for fresh air, coffee, or cigarettes. I go to the canteen and buy a coffee.
Relationship of Aging: Evolutions of the Parent/Child Relationship

We try to mould ourselves to fit the gaps that life presents for us, while forgetting that we were born with everything that we need in order to thrive on this beautiful plane
SOUND THE GONG: The call to awaken
I’d like to begin by telling a story. It is a heavenly story, a heavenly history if you will. We all have our own human histories, our family’s history, our nation’s history, and the history of humanity as we know it.
SAUDADE: Existential sadness
A pastime that gives me great pleasure, and whiles away many hours, is researching and learning foreign words and phrases for which there is no direct English translation.
