My architect suggested a standard septic tank, but a friend told me that local regulations are getting much stricter and I might need a full sewage treatment plant instead. I’m honestly confused about the difference—is it just about the price, or is one actually "cleaner" than the other? I don’t want to install something now only to find out in two years that it’s illegal or smells terrible. Does anyone have experience with mechanical vs. chemical cleaning for domestic sewage? Which one is less of a headache to maintain long-term?

I think I’m officially cursed. It’s freezing outside, and I just realized my boiler has decided to go on strike. No hot water, no heating, and there’s a cryptic error code blinking on the display that wasn’t there yesterday. I’ve tried the classic "turn it off and on again" move, but no luck. Before I spend a fortune on an emergency call-out fee for a London engineer, does anyone have a checklist of things I should check myself? I’m fairly handy but I don’t want to blow the house up. Is it usually just a pressure issue, or should I be prepared for a full replacement? Any advice on how to handle this without losing my mind (and my savings) would be amazing.

But the way I see it, some people just don't deserve to be forgiven. So, I'm not sure what to do. There's one person in my life who wronged me a long time ago, and I'm still angry even though they've apologized. I'm not sure if I should just let it go, forgive them, and move on, or if my anger is justified. In my opinion, if someone intentonally wronged me, they shouldn't be forgiven. Does anyone have any insight here?

I used to be quite devout, but things are slowly changing for me. I'm here asking for some advice, because I feel like losing my faith means that I'm a bad person, but with everything that's happened, I just can't keep being an unquestioning and unwavering believer. Help! Does anyone who has gone through this have some advice for me? Does losing my faith make me a bad person, or does it mean that I am just maturing and changing?
