DREAM

Hi Aneta,

So, lately all the dreams that I’ve been having have been at my grandmother’s house. It’s always different scenarios though. But it’s always at her house and the majority of the time there’s always food being cooked, talked about or we’re eating there. Well, it’s always different every time. But I had one dream of this guy I used to be romantically involved with and he was in the kitchen cooking, saying how he broke up with his girlfriend, as this other person that I couldn’t see clearly stood there listening to him. I was behind him preparing my plate. I couldn’t see what kind of food it was either. Then, I had a similar dream with the same guy eating at my grandmother’s dining room table; his girl was there this time. He offered me food and I declined, but quickly changed my mind and went to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I think this time he was offering me chicken or something, still unclear about what kind of food it was. Please tell me what you think. Thank you Aneta!!

INTERPRETATION

Hello Rina,

Nice to hear from you again!

Your dream is bringing your attention to your current state of mind (house) which has a connection to your Superconscious Mind (grandmother). In other words, there’s an attitude of higher consciousness, higher understanding that’s being reflected in this dream.

Food has to do with knowledge. It appears as though you are receiving a lot of knowledge, in a variety of forms in the dream, which in turn reflects your waking life experience.

The man you used to be romantically involved with symbolizes an inner part of you. It sounds like you’re ready to revisit qualities within yourself that this past romantic interest symbolizes.

The table in the dream indicates that there is a level of stability you are reaching within yourself regarding solidifying your state of higher consciousness and assimilation of newfound knowledge.

APPLICATION

To fully grasp the meaning of this dream I need to ask you to name two main qualities that you would assign to the man you used be involved with romantically. Doing so will add clarity as to what inner qualities you are working on expanding within yourself. With more knowledge (food) and at the higher level of your consciousness (your grandmother’s house) you’re now ready to assimilate the learning related to your relationship with him.

What is important to consider is that each relationship serves as a mirror in which we, if we are willing to, can see our own reflection. Our outer world reflects our inner world.

This dream echoes the inner evolution you are in the process of. Once you identify the two main qualities of your past romantic interest you’ll be able to more clearly pinpoint which inner qualities/aspects of you are undergoing a significant alignment allowing you to unveil more of your inner potential.

May your dreams illuminate the inner you…
