“If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.”—Lao Tzu

You’ve done the talk therapy. You’ve done affirmations, positive thinking and read all the self-help books. Too often willpower seems like “won’t power.” You’re still not where you want to be in life. Our lives run on autopilot; we automatically repeat the same habitual patterns every day. From health to phobias, from relationships to career or athletic performance, our lives are running on outdated beliefs. As a result of past negative programming, we often think and behave in self-defeating ways. What is amazing is the staggering amount of time and money people will spend to change, to transform, to alter their current life’s challenges and circumstances. The promise of real and long-lasting change falls short of the expectation, leaving people in despair. Many stay stuck in this vicious cycle.

Our beliefs are held in our subconscious minds. If we hold beliefs that are contrary to our goals —which were created in our conscious mind—reaching them will be very hard and in most cases, impossible. Dr. Bruce Lipton says, “The major problem is that people are aware of their conscious beliefs and behaviours, but not of subconscious beliefs and behaviours. Your subconscious beliefs are working either for you or against you, but the truth is that you are not controlling your life, because your subconscious mind supersedes all conscious control.”

Even well-intentioned, motivated and committed individuals often sabotage themselves because the subconscious mind harbours negative beliefs that are contrary to success. Failure to shift the way they think and believe leaves them engaged in self-defeating behaviours that imprison them in a swirl of mediocrity. As Carl Jung once said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

The good news is that we can easily change beliefs that limit us in life. One such method is PSYCH-K®, developed by Robert M. Williams in 1988. PSYCH-K® is a set of principles and processes designed to change subconscious beliefs that limit the expression of your full potential as a divine being having a human experience. The missing link between the conscious and the subconscious mind, PSYCH-K® helps identify and change underlying beliefs associated with problems on hand. For example, if you’re struggling with issues such as lack of money, poor health, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, phobias or depression, PSYCH-K® can help identify and change beliefs that may be preventing you from reaching your goals regardless of how hard you work.

It is a whole-brain integration approach that increases communication between the left (logical) and right (intuitive) hemispheres of the brain. It effectively changes limiting beliefs and shifts the way we perceive our past traumas, quickly and easily. PSYCH-K® is a means of communicating a goal to the subconscious mind in sensory-based language that it understands. It’s a permission-based protocol that requires commitment from both the higher self and the subconscious mind prior to making any changes.

The process allows one to go beyond affirmations and positive thinking. The goal is to discover self-limiting beliefs that individuals might subconsciously hold. “You can repeat affirmations until you are blue in the face,” Williams says. “It seldom makes any difference. Most of the time it’s not about positive thinking. It’s not about, ‘Oh, cancel. I don’t want that thought.’ You already had the thought. So until you change the basic software of the subconscious, your hard drive, your life won’t change.”

“The problem is that our subconscious records experiences from our earliest moments onwards. We are born into various cultures that have mindsets already in place,” Williams says. “We start internalizing those even before we are out of the womb. Your parents start to treat you in a way that fits society’s norms and their own beliefs. By the time you’re 12 years old, generally speaking, you are quite asleep at the wheel of your own life because you are ”inculturated” by whatever your culture and your parents say is true and right. That’s not all bad. But you want to change the beliefs that are not serving you, that are limiting you in some way.”

The solution is obvious. Simply change beliefs and transform your life. PSYCH-K® is a popular and effective system for subconscious change that has been successfully used for over 23 years. Today it is used by the general population as well as by psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, medical and naturopathic doctors, psychotherapists, social workers, professional performance coaches and body workers. Due to his own success with this process, it’s Dr. Lipton’s favourite and he highly recommends it to others:“The ‘secret to life’ is BELIEF. Rather than genes, it is our beliefs that control our lives. PSYCH-K® is a set of simple, self-empowering techniques to change your beliefs and perceptions that impact your life at a cellular level,” he says.

We are powerful beyond measure but unfortunately no one ever told us so. Only you can give yourself the gift of freedom from limiting beliefs and perceptions that keep you from living a life you desire and deserve, doing what you love.
